Polymnia is located in the centre of the Etruscan town, in a beautiful and relaxing part with a wonderful view of the countryside of Valdichiana. Since 1989 Polymnia has been offering Italian Language courses and culture courses such as History, wine, Literature, Italian for special purposes.
The school is open all year round both for group and individual lessons and our teachers are specialized in the teaching of Italian as a second language.

F.A.Q POLYMNIA
What types of Italian language courses do you offer and how are they structured?
Polymnia offers various types of courses including small group courses (1-6 participants), individual tuition, remedial courses, and special three-day courses. Group courses consist of 4. hours/lesson (50 minutes each) per day from Monday to Friday. Individual tuition is available both in the morning and afternoon. The courses are structured according to the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
What is the cost of the Italian language courses?
The cost varies depending on the type and duration of the course. For example, a one-week standard individual course costs €320, a two-week course group costs €455, and a four-week course costs €670. Private lessons are available at €25 per hour.
What is the enrolment process for the courses at Polymnia?
To enroll in a course, interested students should send an email to polymniacortona@gmail.com . The school will provide all necessary information and an Italian language test to assess the student’s level. The school is open all year round, but no lessons are held on certain Italian public holidays.
What is the cancellation policy for the courses?
